FOR UNDERSTANDING PILATES
At The Movement Project, we believe that the biggest barrier to Pilates is not always access, but understanding. Too many people dismiss Pilates before they have ever tried it, shaped by outdated perceptions of what it is, who it is for, and what it can do for the human body.
That is why we have built this space.
TMP’s Education Hub features original, expert-authored pieces from leading professionals across New Zealand sharing their knowledge on the physical, mental, and performance benefits of Pilates for every body. These are informed, evidence-based perspectives from people who work with movement every day.
We are committed to growing this library over time. New pieces are added regularly as we continue to build our network of contributors and deepen the conversation around what Pilates can genuinely offer — regardless of your gender, fitness level, or starting point.
